I'm sure you've heard the slogan "Many hands make light work" and that is true in our guild also.   We only have a few spots left to fill at this time, so I hope you will find it in your heart to volunteer at the September meeting.

One of the most important volunteer opportunities is a Chairwomen for our CCA Tree.  It's a big job, but just for a couple of months.    You would decide on how to decorate the tree, and the members will help make the ornaments.  Sometimes we have a contest for the ornaments- it will be up to you!  This is a big fundraiser for the Christian Community Association, and we have participated for several years.  It's something that has to be organized immediately, so please think about volunteering to be the Chairwoman.

We also would need a Hospitality Chairwoman to help organize the New Members Tea twice a year.  It's a small job that just entails sending out invitations to the new members, and coming to the guild meeting early and making sure we have paper goods.   We would also like to see us have a Show and Tell Chairwoman.  She could have us list a short description of our Show and Tell that could be sent to the Newsletter editor.

  And speaking of the Newsletter Editor, how about if we have a team of 3-5 women to help our newsletter editor.  Someone to take the newsletter to be copied and then the team could collate them, attach the mailing address and mail them out to us.  It would help her out so much.

    There will be volunteer opportunities for everyone throughout the year, and that is what is so wonderful about our guild - we help each other, and in doing so make our guild even better!
