Challenge

What Is "The Guild Challenge?"

The Land o' Lakes Quilt Guild has a "Guild Challenge" each year. A committee comes up with a theme and guidelines for guild members to follow when creating a quilt to enter in The Challenge. The finished quilts are brought to the December guild meeting and displayed on racks and clotheslines. It's like our own private quilt show! Guild members and a couple of local judges vote on their favorites and ribbons are awarded to the winners. The "challenge" for some of us is to see if we can win a ribbon, but for many of us, the challenge is to see if we can get our quilts finished!
